Deal sites are cropping up all over the place. Most are indistinguishable from each other, and many retain expired deals for longer than helpful. I'm luke-warm on these. I just bought a 42" lcd and I'm not exactly certain how helpful these sites actually were, that's because I ended up spending a lot of time chasing expired deals. I can't remember if the deal I ended up finding actually came from a deal site or just from the randomness of searching and stumbling. Regardless, I consider these sites to be mostly pro-consumer, pro-information, and healthy. You'll want to keep in mind the online coupons searches as well. Some of the below sites have list coupons in addition to deals, but you'll probably want to do separate searches just in case.

Deal Sites (just a sampling - there's a ton of them)

• Woot - features one deal every day. I'm hooked on it and visit it daily.
  
• Delight Deals - for the ladies! 

• Overstock - technically not in the same category as "deal sites" but still a good information source.
• Deal News - also features several sub sites: dealmac, dealram, dealcam, etc.
• Fat Wallet - forums, news, and price comparison.
• TechBargains - blog of bargains for tech stuff.
• Ben's Bargains - blog, mostly electronics.

• SlickDeals - mix of stuff.
• DealCatcher - blog with lots of different stuff, majority is probably electronics.
• digg.com/deals - helps determine which deals are "good"
• BlackFriday.info offers it all in a simple package: shopping lists, coupons, deals, and over 50 Black Friday ad scans. Users can sort by store, category, online availability, or news.
• Black Friday Gear is a fun, unique site, offering Black Friday ads, news, message boards, and its own Black Friday-designed apparel: T-shirts, sweatshirts, scarves, and hats. Early-bird specials are listed in a table form, sorted by category, and include price info.

            At DealTaker.com, view a basic compiled list of Black Friday news and advertisements from Home Depot, JC Penney's, Target, and more.

• BlackFriday.GottaDeal.com provides a list of ad items with links to the product pages on store Web sites as they become available.
• Black Friday Ads Click on a store and view a page that compares the best, worst, and most rated deals of the season by users.
