Fun with Credit Cards PDF Print E-mail

The Basics: when you play with credit cards, you're playing with fire. Credit card companies want you to be stupid and want to take your money. That's their business. They loan you money, charge high interest, and hope that you pay only the minimal each month. Don't do that. If you do have credit card debt, call up your credit card and negotiate a lower rate. They probably will. It's a very competitive business. Or talk to a new card company and have your debt transferred to the new card with a lower debt. Think about it, the new card is better for you because it's a lower rate and it's also better for the new card company because they now are making money off of you even if it's at a lower rate than what the other card was at (that's because they didn't have your business at all before!).

Advanced: This is very important. Before screwing around with advanced techniques make sure that you both understand and execute The Basics. If you don't, you're going to get yourself into trouble, and that defeats the purpose. Our purpose is to scam the system. Assuming you got The Basics in order, use and abuse  "life of loan" offers. These are special credit card offers that provide a low interest rate for the "life of" whatever the loan is for. I've switched a 5.99% auto loan to a 3.99% life of loan offer. I've even switched a 7.75% 2nd mortgage to a 1.99% life of loan. When you do this, you have to treat this like a business. Those cards have to be put away and not used for anything else, and you have to pay all your bills on time. You can get yourself into some serious trouble if you don't mind the basics.

For more information on this sort of "scam", see the link below. That's the best article I've yet come across describing this opportunity:

I am pleased to recommend Phil Scanlan without reservation.

For the past couple of years, Phil has been our Web Technician/Master at The Crossing.

Phil is passionate about his work and communicates his considerable knowledge and expertise with clarity, honesty and sensitivity.

Moreover, in our case, he is able to break down complex technical issues and jargon to a level even a neophyte and/or technologically challenged person can understand.  His goal is always to make things simpler and user friendly while unleashing more possibilities to further the reach, use and functionality of the web.  The fact that he can do all of this without compromising the integrity of the mission of the organization—in our case---a small non-profit--- is amazing.

Phil is a person of the highest integrity who brings incredible gifts and commitment to his work.

Respectfully,

Douglas M Pierce
