The DeForest Area Chamber of Commerce has about 200 charter members. And they had a big problem: a horribly convoluted website that was about as un-people-friendly as you can get. The new design focuses on simplicity and ease of navigation. In addition, it now has a people-friendly vibe to it. Lots of photos and images. Now people like it. Now it's a good foundation for going forward: to promote upcoming events, to take credit card orders for future events.
I am pleased to recommend Phil Scanlan without reservation.
For the past couple of years, Phil has been our Web Technician/Master at The Crossing.
Phil is passionate about his work and communicates his considerable knowledge and expertise with clarity, honesty and sensitivity.
Moreover, in our case, he is able to break down complex technical issues and jargon to a level even a neophyte and/or technologically challenged person can understand. His goal is always to make things simpler and user friendly while unleashing more possibilities to further the reach, use and functionality of the web. The fact that he can do all of this without compromising the integrity of the mission of the organization—in our case---a small non-profit--- is amazing.
